Quiet breakfast and private 4X4 departure to the Dades gorges. You will take the Tizin Tichka pass road towards Ouarzazate to cross the Atlas Mountains. Many stops to admire the beautiful landscapes and take all the photos you want. Lunch will be taken along the way, delicious traditional tagines. In Ouarzazate, visit the city and the old movie studios. Continuation of the “Thousand Kasbahs” road along the Dades valley in the middle of the Berber country (Ouarzazate dam, Skoura palm grove, Valley of roses, Kasbah Amridil). After breakfast, walk in the Dades Gorges where you can admire the geological curiosities of the place (eroded red rocks nicknamed “Fingers of monkeys”, Valley of human bodies, “,” Brain Atlas “). Then the road to Merzouga passes through Tinghir and the spectacular Todgha Gorges (the most beautiful in southern Morocco) with rock faces up to 300m high. After a good night under the stars and a hearty breakfast, your driver will drive you to Fez (doyenne of the four imperial cities of Morocco). The road crosses the palm grove of Erfoud and travels along the Wadi Ziz with its wonderful landscapes, the dam of Errachidia, and passes the rocky bar of the Middle Atlas to reach further north-west the beautiful mountainous region of Ifrane. Frequent stops along the road to enjoy the enchanting scenery and in small isolated villages for meals and traditional tea with the people encountered.
Fes cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco is famous for its craftsmanship and gastronomy. You will discover the 3 main parts of the city. The old Arab-Muslim city and its Medina (the largest in the Arab world and World Heritage by Unesco) and its famous tanners district. The new city with the Royal Palace (which can not be visited) and the old Jewish quarter (Mellah). And the modern city that opens to the outside world (Museum of Arts and Traditions of Fez, Medresa Bou Inania, Medresa El Attarine in the old city). Departure to Meknes, visit of the old city and a museum according to the available time. Continue the road to Rabat. Free evening (or cultural activity according to the programs of the moment) and accommodation at the Hotel.
